Olympus wanted a clever way to build brand loyalty and reward camera users for engaging with the brand.


the solution:
Host a spectacular photographic event at Giffords Circus in the Cotswalds. Employing a multiple channels approach to publicise the event, both before, to invite attendees (via various Olympus websites and social media channels) and afterward, to maximise impact for the brand. 50 pairs of tickets were distributed to the lucky attendees and these participants got try out Olympus cameras and lenses and got unparalleled photographic access to the circus performers. This was followed by a photography masterclass by Olympus principal photographer and educator Damian McGillicuddy.
